Christmas Day Firsts for Aubrey

How did she get a hold of that? Oh yeah, I was putting all of our Christmas Candy in a bowl and turned my back!
She is a quick one! Especially when it comes to Chocolate! She is a true girl in every way!
She knows she is not supposed to have it!

Just watch her stuff it in her mouth, she was just waiting for me to take it out of her mouth!

Christmas Morning!

We ended waking up the kids at 8:00am and got started on opening our presents.
Carter was extatic and was surprised at all of the gifts. Santa had left his gifts for the kids under the fireplace and when Carter walked in, he said, "But there isn't any skateboard stuff!?"
He got so excited each one he got to open!
His Skateboard ramp
His skateboard ramp with stairs and a rail! (Which is what he asked from Santa)

He was so excited, "It is just what I wanted"
Aubrey got some pony's
But we all know that she loved the paper and ribbon!

Aubrey's First Doll, She loved it and immediatly gave it a kiss!
And then another kiss!
Aubrey gave Carter a skateboard hand game. (It had looked like a fun thing for him, but surprisingly really hard to play)
Jeff and I gave Carter BUZZ and WOODY! He loved them. Although he opened Woody first and exclaimed, "I didn't ask for wooddy, I wanted Buzz! I guess I should have handed him the one he wanted first and then gave Woody. He would have been well recieved!

His awsome presents!
Look what I got!!! I got spoiled! I got a whole bunch of movies and books from Jeff! Love you!
This is what Jeff got!
Carter's Loot! (I forgot to take a picture of Aubrey's stuff, or a picture with Grandma and Grandpa Benson who stayed the night and watched us open presents and eat breakfast with us)

Christmas Eve 2009

And Behold an Angel appeared....
For Christmas Eve, We went to my Mom's house and had dinner. My Mom wanted us to act out the Nativity. I think it is much cuter for the kids to do it all, but there were only 6 of them. So we had to step in and help. Our Angel got a little distracted with all of the nutcrackers around.

This year was perfect seeing as my sisters' baby Nicolas could be the Baby Jesus!

My Dad and I accepted the role of the shepards. Don't we look great! ( My Dad even answered the door wearing that stuff)!
My Mom Took the role of Angel Holder. Since our Angel was only 26 inches tall, she needed some help. And even on cue, Aubrey started getting excited and clapping her hands when she was announcing the birth of the Savior!
Jeff took the role of reading the story with his deep voice!
Carter was a Wiseman with Brandt and Isaac. Unfortunately all we had was a santa hat and a spiderman robe. He thought it was awsome!

We had a lot of fun. I think it was a fun experience for Carter. After we were done, we gathered the kids up and went home to open our pjamas. I forgot to take a picture. I wanted to get the kids in bed. Although, I didn't have any wrapping to do. ( I had a girls night with Morgan and we wrapped for 4 hours straight! Thanks Morgan!)

The Happiest Child

Aubrey is now pulling herself up on things and practicing her standing. Although, she likes to dance and sway; which causes her to fall down!
She is the happiest child most of the time, and loves the laundry basket!
Ohhh, I could just kiss her all day! She makes us all smile and so happy!

She makes just as much noise as Carter. She thinks she has to be loud to be heard. Although, most of the time, it is true!

The Lights at Temple Square

This is one of my favorite Christmas Traditions! I love seeing the lights with my family. This year it was only us and my parents. Seeing that my sister had a new baby. But it was still very fun, and luckily for us, it was pretty warm.

This is my favorite part of the whole night. Seeing this tree and the temple!
I loved that Mary and Joseph were on the reflection pond! It was beautiful!
This was the end, and it was starting to get cold. Carter was sure tired too!
Me and my true love!
In the end, our little Aubs didn't make it the whole time!
Merry Christmas Eve!
