Fritz the Cat 1972
How do you criticize something for being too gratuitous when that's the entire point?
Beside the excessive sex, drugs, and violence, the social commentary is too direct and scattered; the film is unsure which topic it wants to tackle, with little results. The commentary is pretty decent for what it is. It ties together with the humor, making for some decent satire. Then again, it's difficult to actually interpret the author's intent.
Still glad I experienced it, since the animation is brisk and the crudeness is interesting.
