The Substance 2024
This movie has some memorable scenes and visuals, but ultimately it's like if Death Becomes Her was 50% longer and 50% less humorous.
Demi Moore's performance is fearless though and she totally earned that Oscar nomination. Taking on the physical attributes of an old broken body, throwing eggs at her younger self while she guts a turkey, and having her own breakdown in the bathroom mirror, she really went for it here.

Fatal Attraction 1987
The performances are solid and the characters are messy, but it's a little too long and despite this basically setting off a wave of late 80s/early 90s erotic thrillers, everything is played so dead seriously to the film's detriment.
But thank god they changed the original ending. Anne Archer shooting that gun with the coldest expression on her face kind of made the whole movie.

I think this was a good film but the excessive length and the way it ends on a massive downer note means I'm not going to rewatch it anytime soon. At least Craig got a much better send-off than most of the previous Bonds.
