One of the worst films I’ve seen in recent history. At one point someone in front of me in the theater started scrolling their phone and I was more interested in watching that than what was on the big screen.

Remember Me 2010
I don’t even know what to make of this film. It was actually mildly okay until the ending and I even knew about the end plot twist ahead of time. Yet that ending was somehow a million times worse to experience than merely reading about it. Who thought this was a good idea? Why did I subject myself to this? I wish my memory was like a web browser and I could clear the last hour of history. 😵💫

Never have I so fervently wished for a movie to end! This film was equal parts mind-numbingly dull and frustrating. I can’t remember the last time I so disliked a protagonist for not only being a total limp noodle, but also for being an absolute narcissist. The actress spent the last third of the film doing a little Frankenstein walk everywhere as though that portrays mental exhaustion and anguish. Really it just came across as tedious and absurdly silly. It was a total relief when this movie ended and yet it angered me because the protagonist didn’t get her true comeuppance.Translated from by -
Get Out 2017
Definitely an example of how hype and social media can ruin the surprise. I wish I'd seen this film its first weekend of release before all the Twitter spoilers and 98% on Rotten Tomatoes ads.
I went in knowing the general spoiler for the film, so that made the experience a little less surprising. Luckily, I didn't know everything in advance, so there were still some enjoyable surprises that had me yelling at the screen.
