  I don't find this biblical stuff all that compelling but there's enough violence, cool practical effects and makeup and an excellent Christopher Walken to keep me engaged. Got a little something for the whole family here.

  As an appreciator of 80s horror, horror-comedies and practical effects, somehow this movie has eluded me all these years. What a shame, cause it's a lot of fun.

  The commitment to the premise is admirable and going all-in on it works in its favor. What's also admirable is that there is hardly any fluff to this - no side plots, is there any character development? Who cares, we're here to watch some fun horror clown gags. I actually wouldn't have minded more time spent with the clowns causing mischief around town.

  These are no longer movies. These are paid shoutouts with 10 minutes of plot connecting them. Who's worse: the guy who came up with the idea or the enablers funding it?

  Nigel should do everyone a favor and start a Twitch stream if he just wants to get paid for saying someone's name. Maybe then he can put more effort into actually making a movie again.
