I enjoyed it. It makes more sense if you think Harry has autism. Great ending.

There’s a lot to unpack in here. At first I wasn’t so sure about it. It definitely was brave, ambitious, and humbling though. Life is so tragic and beautiful. Humans are so beautiful and maniacal. Sometimes it’s only when you look back that you can tell the difference?

Saw at ‘23 Florida Film Festival. The producer was at the screening and remarked that we all want more smart sci-fi films (insinuating this was one of them). Pretty ballsy claim—but he’s certainly right. This is one of those films. Solid (original!) script. Great acting. Great cinematography (the blocking really kept you engaged in the 1st act). I can’t wait to see what this writer/director is going to do next. And did I mention it was made in Jacksonville! Not the ending I expected, and I probably would have ended it differently, but it stills makes you think.

I was really surprised at how much I liked this film. It’s funny yet tragic. Great script. Wonderful cinematography and intentionality in camera movement. Paul Walter Hauser is quickly becoming one of my fav actors.
