  If I had a nickel for every Disney princess sequel that was structured like a D&D adventure, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened with both Frozen 2 and this (complimentary)

  It's a retelling of Dune that's digestible by people who don't like homework, but it still has the problem of adapting a work that is relatively emotionless? The technical aspects of the movie are stunning, but I just don't feel anything when I watch Dune?? Which is weird bc my favorite movie is Arrival (2016) so I feel like a fraud when I say I don't get the appeal of this series.

  That being said, Paul learning to ride the sandworm was the best symbolic baptism I've seen on screen
