  A really great way to wind down from a really great weekend (in Ocean City, of all places). There’s a lot to praise about this film! It’s obviously a film about Nazi Germany, but I was surprised to learn that it’s just as much a coming-of-age story, too — and a really compelling one at that.

  Legitimately my least favorite watch of the year — but hey, at least I saw it with a group of people I love 🥺 I cringed so hard at points it could have been a stroke and I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference.

  I do not rate this lightly; I only have three (now four) films rated this low. Is this the worst thing I’ve ever seen? No. But it is perhaps the worst theater experience I’ve ever had, with very little to redeem it otherwise. I feel as though I’ve been pranked. And I am stunned by the film’s positive reception.
