Not the type of movie I would watch in my own free time, but it was still somewhat interesting. As the movie centers around Razieh and Ali trying to retrieve the money that they lost, I was surprised that I was able to keep going in watching the film; in a way, it reminded me of when I was younger when I tried to retrieve things I dropped before my mom realizes I dropped that thing.
This type of movie was a way to help me "slow down." Although being a slow-paced movie, it was interesting enough to keep me focused.
Intense events simplified into an easy to follow animation. Because it is an animation, we can see how the characters develop, and we can directly see what they are thinking or feels inside. While the movie was really intense as it showcases the Iranian Revolution, I enjoyed the many minor details presented in the movie. It was in a way comedic. This movie shows how child soldiers ultimately get abused after being manipulated after recruitment. From being an innocent victim of civil war to becoming a beast of destruction, it's very scary how this movie played out. Because of the precise representation of child soldiers and how they get abused throughout the movie, it adds a layer of depth to the movie, making it pretty interesting to a person who watches romance animes 24/7.

The documentary The Gate of Heavenly Peace is a film about the Tiannamen Square incident, and the buildup of the Tiannamen Square massacre. Through interviews on different people, mostly on surviving university professors and student activists that survived the massacre, they captured their story on what actually happened on the incident, and their thoughts and emotions they felt during the time. This film was very informative towards what really happened at Tiannamen square, and helped give insight on the movement.…
