Ghostland 2018
Ok, I'm gonna be honest... this has the type of storyline that you can't scroll through. You gotta be paying attention. And I kind of wasn't at all times, so, it may have lost me here and there. BUT, for the most part, this was pretty dang solid. If nothing else it was violent as hell, which usually is enough for me.

I'm very well aware that this is just supposed to be a 3.5 to 4.5 above average but not perfect movie. But this, is, my, freaking, jam. I LOVE this movie. I loved it the first time I saw it, and I've somehow loved it more every watch (this was watch 4).
Every performance is perfect. The setting is wonderful. The plot is so fun. My type of humor is sprinkled all throughout. I wouldn't change a thing. This movie absolutely slays.
Better than anything that was just nominated for best picture 😱🤷♂️

I liked this a lot. This, to me, best defines a short film. Like, a whole idea, just done in a shorter amount of time. Everything else felt like a scene that should be in the middle of a bigger idea or something. Honestly, thinking about it now, I may even vote this one second and move A Lien to 3, but it doesn't matter cuz A Lien is winning this thing I'd imagine.
