Alien: Romulus 2024
Honestly what I hated about this most - even more than the DOGSHIT AI stuff - was how young and hot all the cast was. Think about the original Alien and consider that Harry Dean Stanton was one of the better looking characters - we need this to come back to movies.
That said, I thought the guy playing the Synthetic (Leonard?) was really solid in his characterization. Well done.

Thought that I only liked this movie because I saw it first at 13 and there’s boobs, but man I was wrong! It fucking rocks so hard.
I love the split screen and progressive zooms that they used in this era. I don’t know why they didn’t return outside of cheap pastiche or homage. I think the zoom technique in particular is so cool- Wes Anderson does it now and again.
Man it’s scary too- puts a rock in your stomach from scene 1.
