Deep Cover 1992
really interesting look inside The War on Drugs. Fishburne and Goldblum are knock it out of the park in the film, with Duke's direction and the sleek cinematography being the most impressive parts of the movie imo. a fantastic movie that should be a well-known classic and a certified dad movie he shows you when you're 12 years old.

I really liked this ! though, I would say liking this movie is 100% dependent on if you like the cynical humor in it and how much you can take it undercutting the drama here and there. overall, the jokes were funny, the deaths were fantastic and Theo James put up awesome performances in the movie. my only issue is sometime the humor undercuts the drama and as a result, I left for not really caring all that much for it. it’s the only real downside to the film but still really good and a good follow up to Longlegs.

fucking awesome. doesn’t reach the impossible heights of Fury Road but it got close. there’s some pacing issues, ie. 1st hour goes by a breeze like nothing, but almost everything else is perfect. ATJ is great in this but the show stealer goes to Hemsworth, playing a weirdo psychopathic fascist in Dementus who joins the long line of sick 2024 movie villains. phenomenal movie, George Miller is a fucking mastermind and I pray he has the ability to give us one more Mad Max movie.
