  I like how Jesse Eisenberg ends the movie the same way it begins and how Benji does not accept David’s offer. He is showing us that pain and depression isn’t something that can be fixed so easily. Maybe it can never be healed. I like how Eisenberg isn’t trying to tell us how to move on from pain but instead just artistically portrays the intricacies of the struggle. I think it’s beautiful.
