Genuinely this film made me so mad lol. There were some parts and moments I enjoyed but man this just rubbed me the worst way. Worst ending to a movie of all time.

felt like a fucking horror movie. charles melton's performance as an adult whose growth has been stunted by a manipulative predator really resonated, i felt such grief for his lost childhood and such pain in watching his impression of adulthood. never getting to be his own person, solely existing under the thumb of someone else who's convinced him he has control -- meanwhile he exists as someone entirely molded by someone else
