    HORRIBLE WIGS: The movie!

Like almost not even good enough for a background movie.

I will never understand how this has such a stacked cast??? Yet feels all around phoned in— every actor is playing a soulless facsimile of a beloved role from elsewhere.

Insane back and forth pacing with baffling decisions at every story point. The AI-assisted retro-footage edit exposition dump was almost too hard to watch.

You can’t tell me bad lands was worse than this.

Tons of style and a lot to chew on here. Another film, like Mickey 17, for me where all the parts didn’t totally come together to form the strongest whole. There was some pacing issues.

I continuously thought of last year’s Blink Twice, which I think did this a bit better. Blink Twice was brutal and bleak and disturbing in a way that this film didn’t really go for.

Ayo was the best part— and as a vehicle for her to show her range, I think this worked well.

Overall, this was worth the watch but didn’t blow me away.

As someone with absolutely no frame of reference for this game— genuinely, what the fuck more could you ask for?!??

2 time OSCAR winner Kate Blanchett leads a colorful sci-fi action story VIDEO GAME adaptation at the age of 55 years old? It’s a THING OF BEAUTY. With Jamie Lee Curtis in a role that takes nothing from any previous performances. In fact, every actor here, including Kevin Hart, plays a totally different “character type” than I have ever seen…
