  Loved the chemistry between the two leads, and the family dynamics were great. Movie hits some stumbling blocks with not just predictability, but also highly gendered roles for everyone, which includes the subservience and the meekness of the female lead.   I don't understand the complaints at all. The special effects look great to me; the transformation was suitably grotesque. I don't care how much or how little hair he had as Wolf Man. I don't really care that we never saw the fucking moon--that's obviously not the lore Leigh Whannell was going for at all.
