Was just kind of enjoying this but when the wheelchair race happened I realized I was watching a serious aesthetic achievement.
Wish that the romance subplot was not physically painful to watch because otherwise I would consider this to be one of the great sports movies. Jesus Christ this movie makes racing in Nascar look like participating in elemental forces of nature.
