Before I watched this, the plot sounded like nothing new to me (Defending Jacob and Responsible Child immediately came to mind), but I was at least curious about the oners. But damn, I was sooo impressed by this, both narratively and technically. I was continually surprised by the turns the story took. Each episode taking place entirely in real time left me as impatient and desperate for answers as the characters.

The performances are so rich and layered. Streets are…

I spent like an hour on some wild parts of the internet trying to find this, but it was well worth the effort. There’s so much I loved about it.

    Insane movie!
I always feel like I use all five senses watching a Guadagnino film, this one’s no different. The score, editing and camerawork are so full of adrenaline. Every time I thought I couldn’t be more locked in, Luca does something crazy like a Wong Kar-wai homage or a double split diopter and I’m even more in it. The whole cast is great, Zendaya especially is just on another level.
Only issue I had was that sometimes I had…

I forgot how much this movie rocks. It moves past the predictable story beats quickly and instead tells the story in a really exciting way. It’s like British New Wave but with the lively editing and camerawork of a quality summer blockbuster.
Performances are great, soundtrack is great, just an overall great film. I’ve literally seen this before but I just wasn’t familiar with its game.
P.S. - They’re speaking English but this movie’s better with subtitles!
