Extremely underrated. Not sure if it was the marketing or having the guy that played Stifler in it that made me dismiss it out of hand but I was very wrong. Role Models is one of the best comedies of the 2000s.

Absolutely amazing and the closest thing that we have gotten to a (good) Hal Ashby movie in decades.
My second favorite Payne after The Descendants and I’m not sure if Da’vine Joy Randolph is best described as the lead or supporting but either way her performances is magnificent and heartbreaking. In my opinion her only competition that she has for either Oscar are Lily Gladstone (best actress) or Kathy Bates (best supporting.)
