it's fun and silly when you just let go of all the different storylines happening: the ethics of cloning the human soul, mad killer scientist, fascist political satire, drug smuggling, and genocidal space colonization...pick a lane!! Collette giving us a Hereditary deleted face scene is iconic tho.

but like can we just stop doing SNL trump skits?? and no we're not doing el*n in movies girl it's too real.

missed opportunity for a belami twincest scene. that would have bumped it to a 3.5 stars imho.

what a great way to kick off the spooky season! a movie that I think a lot of people can individually have their own distinct favourite moments. there's something for everyone: witchy cats, kung-fu tactics, playful green screen tricks, melodramatic storytelling, campy dialogue, and bananas! lots and lots of bananas!

honestly makes me want to watch death becomes her again. great study into makeup and effects and hella campy/freaky the last 30 minutes. k*ll all the men in this movie and then i think Sue and Liz would have gotten along just fine and had a symbiotic relationship and made lots of money double dipping paychecks from the network™️. it's fun to witness other people's pain tolerance levels while in a packed theatre. but what did we learn?? nothing new imho. fame is rotten, yolo and men suck!!
