Ultimately - I was engrossed throughout.
I was a bit worried the ending was going to go a certain way and I was glad when it didn't. I also think it would've been "easy" to have Lily automatically shack up with Atlas and have him help raise the baby, so I'm glad that didn't happen.
The outfits in this movie were a bit unhinged. Didn't love the styling and that's not exactly a production point I typically care…
I hate films like this.
Know why?
Because, even though this film is boring, pretentious wanky nonsense, a whole bunch of people will line up to say it's profound. Inspired. Poignant, and all that bollocks. And worse still, they'll say that anyone who disagrees just doesn't "get it" or doesn't "appreciate art."
