cerebral and cool. felt like something was missing though, I must say. even though theo addresses it at the end, idk. to try and put a finger on it, I feel like a lot of ideas are brought up throughout but not necessarily delved into as deeply as I would have liked. besides that, still though, very cool & interesting doc about cameras & their history/current omnipresence

Greta Gerwig is the coolest. Some of the more painful scenes in this movie, like after the dinner scene where she talks about what love means to her, had me foaming at the mouth. The film was a great exploration of exuberance and confused love with a black and white sheen, and a soundtrack straight up lifted from French New Wave.
