  I get so lost in this genre of films: the three-hour spectacle filled with colourful scores and intermissions. An epic navigating the unfamiliar through endless drama and heroism. But I guess the more of these stories I watch, the more I find that I’m just spectating..?   So much potential to become a midnight classic if it leaned even further into its ridiculousness, but I think in general the endless quips and weird tonal shifts kept taking me out of this one. Still had fun though! Will do my best to start writing reviews more consistently.
