I haven't reviewed this movie before?

I suppose I don't have much to say about it that hasn't been said. For such a simple movie it's amazing that I never get too tired of rewatching it.

Perhaps the simplicity helps. There's just not much to criticize. Characters and writing are strong. It has a very nice look for how low budget it was. Like yeah I can point out there's palm trees in Illinois and notice some of the weird…

Halloween III: Season of the Witch

    ★★★★

This movie will always stick out because the anthology idea didn't take off, but it's probably my favorite of all the Halloween sequels I've seen. Even though...it's not really a sequel. So.

    In the Mouth of Madness

    ★★★★★

In the Mouth of Madness is not the scariest film John Carpenter has made. It's not quite like The Thing or Prince of Darkness, which are perhaps ultimately more disturbing. It has a certain sense of uneasiness throughout it, though. Strange little details that are wrong here and there provide a genuinely creepy atmosphere in a way Carpenter has always been talented at.

The unique thing about Madness is it delivers all of this creepiness with a smirk, and Sam…
