I think this is forgotten Canon films Masterpiece. I mean it hear me out.
It was made as a way to capture the 15 mins of fame that the Lamada had as an American dance. But they barely dance the Lambada in it at all. In fact there is no dancing in the last 45 mins of the film outside of the last 3 minute celebration.

Also this cult has clubs that makes people see demons if they are struck with it and all they want to do is kidnap children. For shame.
Can’t recommend this one. Problems all around but the script seems to be a main one. So many movies with better ideas or that have the same idea and do a much better job with it.
