Watched again for the mall scenes shot at one of my old 90’s stomping grounds: The North DeKalb Mall. #RIP to that mall because I just learned it was demolished last year.

L.A. Takedown 1989
Although Heat is a beloved film, you could argue it's a little bloated. Well, here's the tight 90 minute version of the same story. Perhaps it could have gone to series, but it didn't, and this is what we're left with. I'm guessing the main problem was having Scott Plank as the lead. Oof. He was a drag, while Alex McArthur brought the heat (and notice Alex is the one on the movie poster, for good reason). Overall, this was not bad at all, and, if you're a MannFann, it's a must watch.
