The Company of Strangers might be the most wholesome movie I’ve ever seen. A group of ladies, stranded in the countryside, too old to really worry about their predicament. Therefore just appreciating each other's company. Reminiscing about life and missed opportunities, sharing their pains and aches, dreams and fears, while sketching or catching frogs. I want more movies about old people enjoying the simple things in life, because, as one of the wise ladies said: “If our problems are solved, we still have troubles”.
