I actually really liked this movie. A layer of cheesiness over a genuinely uncomfortable commentary of beauty standards within society topped off with some great practical effects and acting. I got a lot of cheesy 80s sci-fi/horror vibes from it throughout, it reminded me a lot of John Carpenter's The Thing in particular. Really good movie overall, appealed way more to me personally than I would've thought going into it.

The last ~15 or so minutes of this movie are the same 3 shots of a model plane shooting missiles at a mountain and they keep showing the explosions every single time in case you missed it at all the first time and I could not stop laughing
