really, really striking visuals on this one. sometimes too dim. enchanting score. not a performance here i would call amazing but they were all serviceable to pretty damn great. kind of muddy otherwise, oddball pacing, arguments to be made about how good an adaptation it is. but a good watch

never got it, never will. titular characters the worst part of the movie with obstinately obnoxious perverse humor that, get this- isnt funny. best i can give it is that its got that homey ‘80s feel and the effects are impressive. camerawork and audio qualitys crisp and delicious. will never grow tired of watching people in old movies walk around and hearing the clicks of their shoes
