Speechless. A technical marvel rivaled only by its frank but respectful approach of its harrowing subject matter.

    Reviewing this film seems impossible.

But I just heard that settlers have lynched Hamdan Ballal, beating him and causing internal bleeding then invaded the ambulance he called and he is missing.

This is one of the most important documents made, capturing the atmosphere, emotional toil and attitude of the region. Do what you can to see it.

The style just drips off the screen. Classic noir through an 80s lens, a monster holding up a mirror to obsession and even a bit of our cultural excesses. Loved the focus on the similarities between the beast(s) and their hunter.  The caged and uncaged tiger motif was a really nice touch and I loved getting a peek into the distorted viewpoint of the killers perception of love and his misconstruing of an innocent interaction.

    The vibes blew me away…
