After all these years it still rips. Kind of bothers me how they bring in Cory Feldman and Judge Reinhold but their characters go unresolved. That said dang the mom really had a Ripley vibe about her.

Aliens is damn important. Sure, it is a sequel to one of the damn greatest films ever. Sure, perfectly paced. Sure as hell it has amazing set pieces, action, one-liners, cast chemistry, camera work, dialog, miniatures, and damn near everything else. WE ALL KNOW THIS.
Just like a lot of people my age this film was profound as fuck. I rented it dozens of times before getting the trilogy on VHS for my 10th birthday. Something tells me modern parents…
