One of Michael Bay's best films in years. Engrossing chaotic action with stakes that don't stop and surprising sentimentality to the characters in this fucked up situation even if fleeting. It adds a thorniness to the maximalist destruction playing into the crumbling cold systems that professionals have to navigate compromised choices in, making it surprisingly mature. The action never lets up and always finds a way to spike itself with more chaos leaving you in awe and at the edge…
There are a lot of parts to it that have not aged well remotely such as the transphobia, blackface, and rape jokes; but the Biggus Dickus scene still has me rolling and if you have to see anything at least look up that.
