Notting Hill 1999
Why a 5? Because for its genre it doesn’t get better! I mean I even liked the Chagall after watching it! The characters have clear chemistry. It’s the best of America and the best of Britain and it does a really good job highlighting what is undeniably the most romantic hood in the Western world. (how good is it when the Japanese guest at the Ritz reaches over to kiss the concierge!!!)
