At first, he was joking. It was just something people said when things were becoming too intense, when chemicals were mixing and alcohol was flowing. When nerves were high and passion more so. But, after a few hours, she knew he was right: he would, in fact, be the death of her. Or at the very least, he’d haunt her dreams for the rest of her life.
She knew absolutely nothing about him beyond his name and the striking beauty of his green eyes. She didn’t know where he was from or where he was going; didn’t ask about his family, what he did for money, or whether there was a Mrs. Shaw. She assumed there wasn’t, as he didn’t seem the type to be bothered with anything so traditional as wedding vows or staying in one place for too long.
Knowing so little about the man in her bed wasn't unusual for her. She’d had plenty of casual affairs that were little more than drunken tangos and awkward goodbyes. But this was different. This wasn’t just a roll in the hay and a number jotted down on a bar napkin. He was different. She felt different with him.

I had felt a little off all morning but I was fine until I caught a whiff of the mixture of Jared’s cologne and sweat – I’ve never bolted from the car so fast!
Sam, Dean and you are working a case - a siren is posing as "the perfect woman" to get men to commit terrible acts. But tensions between the brothers are already running high, and their unspoken feelings for you aren't helping...

You walk back into the motel room, one of those carton trays with three cups of coffee in it - black, no sugar for Dean, a little bit of creamer for you, a shot of vanilla syrup for Sam - and despite the fact that Dean is only just waking up and it’s before nine in the morning, tension is already thick between the brothers.

My mother passed away unexpectedly on March 20th. She didn't have insurance, and I'm the only one left to pay for her cremation. Unfortunately, I'm no longer able to work and live on a smaller income. Any help to get her cremated would be so greatly appreciated.

I've been doing a lot of little master list shuffles lately, reminding me of some things I wrote a long time ago that I love. It's hard to pick favorites! So I'm just going to list the first five fics that come to my mind.
Summary: Dean Winchester is an addict and an alcoholic, a USMC veteran, a father, and an older brother. As Battalion Chief with Lawrence Fire & Medical, Dean comes under investigation when he makes a dangerous and impulsive decision, defying his superiors and abandoning the team he is supposed to lead. He is given the choice to go to rehab for 28 days, or jail. His lawyer insists on rehab, and Dean begrudgingly abides.

It would have to be big enough for Miracle - Dean could do little hikes with him in the woods. Oh, and one or two extra rooms. Just in case you really want to take advantage of breaking away from hunting, and in his words:
"Maybe...you know...start on Phase 2 of this whole retirement gig. Start a family."

As someone who has endured an experience like this AU, I don’t find any of his traits endearing or redeemable.

I was so excited for the concert and we were having a blast till about halfway through when they started playing Drowning and I suddenly couldn’t breathe. I’ve wanted to see them perform that song since I first heard it, but the overwhelming feelings it elicited in me were more than I could handle.
