Background: Across the world there are programmes challenging negative stereotypes of people with mental health problems and associated discriminatory behaviours, but the evidence base describing what works in practice is still underdeveloped. This paper evaluates the effectiveness of a mental health training intervention with the police force in England. Method: A total of 109 police officers attended training workshops and completed pre- and post-questionnaires detailing knowledge, attitudes and behavioural interventions. Results: Mean attitude scores fell from 2.4 at baseline to 2.3 at follow-up (p < 0.0001) using a 5-point Likert scale. Five key message statements were assessed – 70 % of cases successfully reported more messages at follow-up as compared to baseline; however, the stereotype linking people with mental health problems with violent behaviour overall was not successfully challenged. Positive impacts on police work, particularly improvements in communication between officers and subjects, were reported by a third of cases. Conclusions: Short educational interventions can produce changes in participants' reported attitudes towards people with mental health problems, and can leave police officers feeling more informed and more confident to support people in mental distress.

Çalışmada ruhsal bozukluklara ilişkin stigma, tutum ve inanç ile ilgili daha önce yapılan araştırma
çalışmalarının ve yayınlanan literatürlerin gözden geçirilerek, sunulması amaçlandı. Ruhsal
hastalıklara karşı stigma, tutum, inanç ve damgalama ile ilgili daha önce yapılan tezler araştırma
çalışmaları ve yayınlanan literatürler araştırıldı. Yapılan tezler, araştırmalar ve yayınlanan
çalışmaların gereç ve yöntemleri, elde edilen sonuçlar ve öneriler ayrıntıları ile gözden geçirildi. Elde
edilen veriler belirli bir başlık altında toplanarak benzer konularda yapılan çalışmalar birlikte
değerlendirildi. Literatür taramasında toplumun farklı kesim, meslek, eğitim ve farklı yaş
gruplarından bireylerin ruhsal hastalıklara yönelik tutum ve inançlarını inceleyen güncel
çalışmalardaki sonuçlar elde edildi. Toplumun genelinde ruhsal hastalıklar bilinmektedir. Ancak
ruhsal hastalıklar konusunda toplumdaki bireylerin olumsuz tutuma sahip oldukları ve farkındalık ve
bilgi düzeyleri oldukça önemli olduğu edildi. Çalışmanın sonucunda toplumun farklı kesimlerindeki
her bireye, ruhsal hastalıklara karşı verilecek bilgilendirme eğitimlerinin ruhsal hastalıkları
damgalama konusunda daha olumlu sonuçlar alınacağı tespit edildi. Ayrıca eğitim öğretim
süreçlerinde verilecek olan anti-stigma eğitim programlarının düzenlenmesi ve ruhsal hastalığı olan
kişilere yönelik inanç ve tutumlarının iyileştirilmesi ile yarar sağlanacağı umulur.

Background. Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder that can lead to complex psychosocial consequences. Epilepsy can change the social status of persons with epilepsy (PWE) and has an effect on their social inclusion as well as their perception of social inclusion. This study aims to explore subjective experiences with social inclusion of PWE in Slovenia.Methods. This study takes a qualitative approach. Eleven semistructured interviews were conducted with eleven participants. Interviews were analysed using thematic analysis.Results. Epilepsy has physical, emotional, and social consequences. Physical consequences of epilepsy are mainly tiredness and exhaustion following an epileptic episode, frequently accompanied by headaches. Emotional consequences are different forms of fear. Dwayne is a Grade 6 student who came to Canada from Jamaica at the age of seven. Upon arrival in a new school Dwayne had to adapt to a new culture. In addition, Dwayne was identified as having severe behavioural problems and learning difficulties, and it was recommended within the first month of school that the boy be medicated in order for him to cope. His mother refused. Through interviewing Dwayne's mother and his teacher, a case study details Dwayne's experiences of schooling in as a result of segregation and in a non-segregated classroom setting. The story of Dwayne illustrates how experiences of disablement are interrelated with experiences of migration and racialisation. The article makes a case for understanding inclusive education practice as well as the construction of disability as central to understanding systemic exclusion through special education.

This study investigates gender-associated characteristics of attitudes towards the mentally ill in a large sample of Turkish university students. Factors associated with gender variation were also analyzed. Student&#39;s t-test and linear regression analyses of the results of a vignette-based opinion survey conducted on a sample of final-year Turkish university students (n=700) were performed. Proxemics was an attempt to visualize and instrumentalize these dynamics, appealing to both the social sciences and the emerging field of environmental design. Founded by anthropologist Edward T. Hall and taking shape between the departments of architecture and anthropology at the Illinois Institute of Technology, proxemics developed amidst cold war political tensions and intense social and civil unrest.

Work from home which is carried out at this time is a follow-up to the appeal of President Joko Widodo at a press conference at Bogor Palace in West Java (March 15, 2020). The President appealed to be able to minimize the spread of the new type of corona virus (SARS-CoV-2) that causes Covid-19, the people were asked to work, study, and worship from home, one of which was creating a work from home system. This appeal, especially for the State Civil Apparatus, has been followed up by the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform through Circular Letter number 19 of 2020 concerning Adjustment of the Work System of State Civil Apparatuses in the Prevention of Covid-19 in Government Agencies. The contents, ASN can work at home, but certainly there are two levels of structural officials who work in the office. In addition, there are prohibitions on face-to-face activities that present many participants to be delayed or canceled. Previously, a number of private companies in Jakarta also issued a work from home policy. Such companies include Unilever, Nestle, Prudential, Coca Cola, HSBC, Indofood, and Frissian Flag. Each company has its own policies, such as dividing two teams that alternately work at home and in the office and work from home only for those who are sick and are just traveling abroad. Or just apply to work at home for a few days because of the need for spraying disinfectants.

An erster Stelle soll veranschaulicht werden, inwiefern der Atmosphärenbegriff für den Bereich der Pädagogik signifikant ist. Wie hat sich dieser, eher naturwissenschaftlicher, Terminus aus der frühen Neuzeit, der primär für die Bedeutung der Luftschicht des Erdballs benutzt wurde, in den Geisteswissenschaften eingenistet? (vgl. Bartels 2011, S.1) Welche Bedeutung wird ihm heutzutage zugesprochen? Nachdem die Atmosphäre anhand von Bollnow und Hauskeller definiert wurde, wird ein Überblick über den Gebrauch des Begriffs im umgangssprachlichen und schulpädagogischen Bereich gegeben. Unsere multimediale Gesellschaft hat diesem Atmosphärenbegriff, womöglich eine neue Bedeutung zugeschrieben. Der Bezug auf die moderne Gesellschaft wird durch das eLearning hergestellt. So werden anschließend die konstruktivistischen und kognitiven Ansätze umrisshaft auf das traditionelle Klassenzimmer und die eLearning-Plattformen bezogen. Es wird sich in erster Linie mit den Lehrenden, welche vor einer neuen Aufgabe stehen, befasst, denn der Unterschied zwischen der Atmosphäre im Klassenzimmer und auf den eLearning Plattformen, beziehungsweise dem Lernprozess in der virtuellen Gemeinsamkeit, scheint unumstritten zu sein. Aus diesem Grunde setzt sich diese Arbeit mit dem Wandel der Lehrerrolle, besonders nach der Bildungsexpansion im deutschsprachigen Raum auseinander. Mit Rogers wird ausführlicher auf den Personenzentrierten Ansatz eingegangen. Der Übergang zur Rolle des Lehrenden im virtuellen Klassenzimmer wird von dem selbstgesteuerten Lernen gegeben und es wird erläutert, inwiefern eLearning diesen Ansatz unterstützt. Die neu aufkommende Lehrerrolle wird mit Hilfe der pädagogischen Hochschule Zürich und Dr. Seufert, welche Recherchen im eLearning Bereich leitet definiert. Die Verknüpfung zwischen Klassenzimmer und eLearning bietet das „Blended Learning“, welches vorwiegend die „Face-To-Face-Education“ und das „Distance Learning“ kombiniert. Eine neue Art der Kommunikation zwischen Lehrenden und Lernenden ist auf diese Weise entstanden. Folglich nimmt dies auch Einfluss auf die Aufgabe der Lehrenden. Werden Informationen im virtuellen Raum wirklich einfacher und besser präsentiert? Zweifellos ist anzuerkennen, dass virtuelle Sphären bereits zum Alltag vieler Kinder gehören. Dementsprechend soll diese Arbeit die zukünftige Rolle der Lehrenden im neuen Klassenzimmer erforschen. Schlussendlich wird auf die Frage eingegangen inwiefern „Blended Learning“ dem personenzentrierten Ansatz oder handlungsorientiertem Ansatz zugeordnet werden kann. Abschließend wird ein Resümee die Entwicklung der Lehrerrolle zusammenfassend nachzeichnen.

AND LOCAL PEOPLE IN THE TOURISM DESTINATIONS

Globalization, migration and tourism phenomena lead to the encounters of people with
different origins, cultures and lifestyles in tourism destinations, creating interaction
and individual and social changes. In this study, it has been investigated whether the
foreign residents who settled in Marmaris, who has the same nationality as the tourists
coming to the region, have positive relations with the local people and / or how positive
they are. The effect of community sense, social distance and quality of life on social
interaction and social interaction on tourism attitudes were determined as research
model. The phenomenon of social interaction in tourism destinations has been dealt
with a space-based approach and has been tried to be understood from the point of
view of foreign residents and local people. In this study, data were collected from 382
foreign residents and 495 local residents using quantitative research method.
According to the results, total change in social interaction level of resident foreigners
is explained as 29.4% community feeling, social distance and quality of life (R
2=
0,294). The sense of community increases the level of social interaction (ß=0,468).
The social distance did not affect the level of social interaction (p=0.067> 0.05).
Quality of life increases the level of social interaction (ß=0,210). The total change in
attitude towards tourism is explained by social interaction at the rate of 15.8%
(R2=0,158). Social interaction increases the attitude towards tourism (ß=0,405). For
local people; total change in the level of social interaction is explained by community
sense, social distance and quality of life at a rate of 23% (R2=0,230). The sense of
community increases the level of social interaction (ß=0,223). The social distance
reduces the level of social interaction (ß =-0,006). Quality of life increases the level of

social interaction (ß=0,304). The total change in attitude towards tourism is explained
by social interaction at a rate of 13.1% (R2=0,131). Social interaction increases the
level of attitude towards tourism (ß=0,380). The findings of the study show that the
foreign-local relations established in Marmaris are realized in a positive, high quality
and sincere manner, they attach great importance to the interaction with each other and
they are highly satisfied with their contacts with each other. These results support the
argument “Tourism serves world peace”. In addition, it was concluded that cultural
differences are effective factors, except for the short duration of the tourist's
destination in terms of the reasons for the inconsistencies and disagreements between
the tourist and local people.
