Toaster-Typewriter is the first iteration of what technology made with humor can do. A custom made machine that lets one burn letters onto bread, this hybrid appliance nudges users to exercise their imaginations while performing a mundane task like making toast in the morning.
Surrogate is a body of work centred around issues of reproductive technology and bodily autonomy comprised of a series of physical and performative inputs and outputs to engage and provoke conversations about the topic.
Ghostwriter is a project that invites us to mindfully co-create with the AI through a vintage typewriter’s tactile and physical form. Imagined as a calm meditative interface it removes all the digital distractions and takes us on an emotional journey through paper and ink.

New experimental app from Zach Gage comes in the form of space invaders shooter with an edge to gameplay. Toying with the idea of “consequence”, everything that happens while you play is real. Each alien is procedurally generated out of a file on your computer. When you kill an alien, the file it was created from is destroyed. On the other hand, if you are killed, the application itself will be destroyed.
