    SS2 MID -TERM HOLIDAY ASSIGNMENTS
    LIT-IN-ENG

    1. Read the drama text A Midsummer Nights' Dream by William Shakespeare.


    2. Study the events in Acts 1-3 for practices in context questions
    3.Read the poem "A Government Driver on his Retirement."
    3b List the themes and discuss four themes from the poem.
    NOTE: The assignments should be done in the subject note.

    BIOLOGY
    1. Read on Regulation of Internal Environment (Kidney) and form note on it.
    Creation of appropriate power point presentation will be added advantage.
    2. Explain how the liver, kidney and the skin regulate the internal environment.
    3. Attempt the objective questions and two essay questions (4&5) on the above
    topic on pages 66, 67 and 68 of PREP50 BIOLOGY SERIES.

    DATA PROCESSING

    Students are to read chapter 11 of their text book and answer the following
    Question (research online as well).
    1. Identify and list three (3) common computer hardware components and describe
    the appropriate cleaning methods for each component.
    2. Imagine you encounter a computer problem where the screen freezes and
    becomes Unresponsive. Describe the steps you would take to resolve the issue.
    3. Research and list three computer malware threats. Explain the potential risks
    they pose to a computer system and suggest preventive measures to avoid
    infection.
    NOTE: Remember to use reliable sources and provide citations where necessary.
    Plagiarism is not acceptable and all information should be provided in your own
    words.
