     Explain the difference between comparison and contrast.


    Compare and Contrast. It is a text structure or pattern of
    organization where the similarities and differences of two or more
    things are presented. It is important to remember that with the
    compare and contrast text structure, the text should be discussing
    similarities and differences.
     Provide examples of sentences showing comparison and
    contrast relationship.
    Examples:
     Ana and Ben are both grade V students.
     Ana loves English subject while Ben loves Mathematics.

    Let the students answer the worksheet below.

     Let the students look for two things, animals or persons that
    they want to compare and contrast.

    front of everyone by comparing and contrasting the two
    applications of concepts things that they chose.

     Always remember that when comparing two or more
    persons, we have to be fair and tactful. Let us not use
    offensive words to compare a person to the other one.
