HAGE by Naijaways

...driving efficiency through transparency

We are Naijaways Global Services Limited,
a Lagos-based logistics and supply chain
solutions company.

We are proposing to transform the way

businesses move cargo in Nigeria.
Our Story
Tunde, a trusted distributor based in Abuja,
trusts OK Foods, a division of Olam Group,
and their truckers to ensure the efficient
delivery of their manufactured goods.
The truckers are responsible for delivering OK
Foods’ manufactured goods to Tunde from
Lagos to Abuja within the span of 3 days.

No real-time tracking, operational

inefficiencies, and little transparency from
truckers extends the delivery time from 3
days to 5 days.
Tunde is left frustrated as he struggles to
restock promptly. OK Foods are increasingly
disappointed with the impact on their
profitability due to delays in demand.

The truckers find themselves discontented

as they are unable to guarantee timely
deliveries, leading to dissatisfaction across
the entire supply chain.
Our Story
OK Foods learns about Hage and
encourages its truckers including Tunde, to
utilize the software as a tool for enhancing
delivery process.
With Hage, a newfound level of transparency
is introduced. The software allows all parties
to closely monitor the progress of deliveries.

This increased visibility leads to improved

operational efficiency between the truckers,
Tunde, and OK Foods.
Tunde experiences a remarkable increase in
turnover, soaring to an impressive 200%. OK
Foods witnessed increased sales leading to
a significant boost in their overall profitability.

The truckers can accurately track the precise

location of their trucks, enabling them to
make reliable promises regarding timely
deliveries while maximizing their financial
gains.
The Problem

01 Inefficient traditional delivery process.

High flat rates and long delivery

times for businesses. 02

03 Lack of transparency and real-time tracking

Risks & Mitigations
Implementation Risks: There may be challenges during the implementation phase, such as technical issues,
system integration complexities, or resistance from truckers to adopt the new software. Mitigation strategies
include thorough testing, pilot programs, and providing training and support to truckers to ensure a smooth
transition and minimize disruptions.

Data Security and Privacy Risks: The use of a SaaS tool involves the collection and management of sensitive data,
including tracking information and customer details. Mitigations include implementing robust security measures,
such as encryption, access controls, and regular security audits, to safeguard data against unauthorized access
and breaches.

Dependency on Technology Infrastructure: Reliance on technology infrastructure, including stable internet

connectivity and reliable servers, presents a risk of downtime or system failures. Mitigations include partnering
with reliable technology providers, implementing backup systems, and establishing contingency plans to ensure
uninterrupted operations and minimize the impact of technical disruptions.

Operational Risks: Risks associated with accidents and vehicle breakdowns during the logistics and delivery
process can impact operations and lead to delays and disruptions. Mitigations include implementing
comprehensive driver training programs, safety protocols, emergency response plans, robust fleet management,
and adequate insurance coverage to minimize the risk of accidents and breakdowns.

Change Management Risks: Implementing new technology and processes may require changes in workflows
and employee mindset, leading to resistance and disruptions. Mitigation strategies include effective change
management practices, such as clear communication, training programs, and involving key stakeholders early
in the process to ensure buy-in and smooth adoption.
