I-Rationale :
The School Intramurals serve as a vital platform for fostering holistic
development in students by promoting physical fitness, teamwork, leadership,
and sportsmanship. Intramurals provide students with the opportunity to engage
in various sports and physical activities, encouraging them to explore their
interests and talents beyond the classroom. These activities help balance the
academic and extracurricular aspects of student life, ensuring the growth of both
mind and body.
In a school setting, where emphasis is often placed on academic achievement,

intramurals provide a refreshing break, allowing students to release stress, build
self-confidence, and enhance social skills through active participation. The
inclusion of both competitive and recreational sports encourages inclusivity,
ensuring that every student, regardless of skill level, has a chance to participate
and enjoy the benefits of physical activity.
Additionally, school intramurals foster school spirit and camaraderie. By

organizing students into teams, they cultivate a sense of belonging and unity,
strengthening relationships among peers and promoting a positive school culture.
These events also provide students with leadership opportunities, as they take on
roles such as team captains, organizers, or event managers.
Overall, School Intramurals are essential for developing well-rounded individuals

who can thrive in various aspects of life. They not only promote physical health
but also instill important life skills such as discipline, perseverance, and
collaboration—qualities that will serve students well beyond their school years.
II-Objectives:
This activity aims to:
1. Develop Leadership and Responsibility
2. To foster physical fitness and well-being among students.
3. To promote cultural appreciation through Larong Pinoy.
4. To encourage creativity and artistic expression through literary and musical
competitions.
5. To strengthen school spirit and camaraderie by bringing together students
in diverse activities.
III-Background of the Activity:

1. This activity will be participated by all students in Liberty Integrated
School.
2. School Intramurals 2024 is an exciting, all-encompassing event designed
to engage students in a diverse range of activities, promoting not only
physical fitness but also creativity, cultural appreciation, and school spirit.
This year’s intramurals will feature sports competitions, literary and
musical events, and Larong Pinoy—all aimed at providing holistic
development for every student.
3. Sports Events - a variety of traditional sports competitions will be held,
including basketball, volleyball, badminton, billiards, chess and table
tennis. These activities will encourage students to showcase their physical
talents, teamwork, and sportsmanship. All students, from beginners to
seasoned athletes, will have the opportunity to participate and contribute
to their teams' success.
4. Literary and Musical Competitions - Recognizing the importance of
creativity and self-expression, the intramurals will also feature literary and
musica events such as:
 Yell
 Banner Making
 Singing Competitions
 Dance Competitions
 Sabayang Pagbigkas
5. Larong Pinoy (Traditional Filipino Games) -To honor Filipino heritage and
promote cultural values, the intramurals will include Larong Pinoy, a set of
traditional Filipino games that will be enjoyed by students across all grade levels.

V. Expected Output:
Overall, Liberty Integrated School Intramurals 2024 is expected to have a
lasting positive impact on the students by promoting physical health, creativity,
cultural appreciation, teamwork, and school spirit, all within a supportive and
inclusive environment.
