As I observed about the learner’s activity, they learned new words. The learners
actively participated with the given reading materials and soon they are engaged on how to
read correct pronunciation and correct intonation when it comes in reading stories, also the
feeling involved in the story. The learners are more engaged with the words that new to
them. As the activity deepen it is good for them because they are very interested with the
given games or activities prepared.

The 2nd week of this catch-up Friday is reading and spelling week for my learners.
Some of my pupils amazed me because they are good in spelling. The words I dictate to
them some of my learners got it. I am very happy when this result came out because as their
teacher it is a reward for me. This fruitful week was already done and my learners proved
that they learned the task given to them.

This day is full of learnings for me and for my learners. This 3 rd Catch Up Friday gave another chance to learn
and to enhance creative thinking of my learners. As this activity happens, learners are much engaged because they
are eager to produce words with “AR” letters. Each group coordinate and communicate with each member.
Everyone wants to have it more words in order to pass the challenge and also to win this activity session. As I
observed during this activity, each member of the group relies on their prior knowledge and after that they think
more words to write on their paper. This day gave an opportunity to learn for me and also for my learners. Another
experience to share and to kept along the teaching and learning happens. A fruitful and full of learnings for
everyone. Learning experience creates a new one and gave another milestone to continue and pursue the learner’s
ability to learn in every different way.

As the 4th week of Catch Up Friday happens, it’s been a great and wonderful day for my learners. As
we done the activity about the boat is sinking about their career they’ve showed camaraderie and
sportsmanship during the play. Before we started playing, they draw their career after 15 years what they
will be for that particular year after that they started playing. They enjoyed the activity and the one who out
from the game they will read their work in front from this they read loudly and some words are new to
everyone. We connect the activity to our lesson and a lot of words phrases encountered by the learners.
In the afternoon session, numeracy is our topic and pupils also enjoyed the afternoon session where
learners solve about multiplying with multiples of 10. A new learning experience happens ang new ideas
came up to the learners. As the facilitator of the activity, I am so happy once and for all my learners learned
from the given activity also enjoyed and disciplined in their respective groups as they perform the activity.
This new experienced to them results good in reading as long as there is someone who will guide them in the
learning journey of their own.

Another week had been past. Its been a week where learners learned another set of experiences. In the 5 th
week of Catch Up Friday, another learning came up. Learners do their task as what they had belong according to their
group. The learners started with reading enhancement where learners read according to their reading ability. Learners
had fun in reading different words, phrases and stories.

In the afternoon session, the activity was done with peace and values education. This topic matters the values
of learners where the highlight is how to respect the elders. As the discussion deepen, learners share what are the
things they do in order to have respect to the elders. As they sight their insights about this, I am grateful because of
their love and respect in terms of “Pagmamano”. How happy to hear that word because until now they are cultivating
the culture and continue this kind of respect to elders.

The 5th week of Catch Up Friday was successfully done with the learners’ cooperation, participation and being
a responsible learner inside the classroom. With that the learners learned new things, new information and new ideas
that can be use in their everyday lives as the learning process continues.

In this 6th week of Catch Up Friday turn into reading comprehension and analyzation. This Friday took
another week for learning fun with the learners. As we started the session, learners are excited to have their unusual
activities where they are the highlights of this program.

Learners read and learn on the first activity where learners are actively participated and cooperative. All the
activities given are interesting to them. The first session in the morning was successfully done with their great effort
and coordination as well as being polite and courteous to their teacher/facilitator.

The last session is all about peace and values education, reading intervention and the career of their own.
The whole duration of the activities in the 6th day of catch up program was successfully done with the help and
camaraderie of each and everyone. Another experience, talent discovered and new learnings to those learners who
are truly of their generation. Everything was done good and best as this program continue to boost the ability and
capability of learners in all aspects.
