For my name it was a nickname I was giving back in middleschool! One of our teacher had a system where we worked with 'wifi' eachtime we talked in class we lost a bar of the "wifi" (was a weird joke and we never held count on that) All the kids usually joked if they needed 'wifi' , they would borrow mine if they wanted to talk more. (I was incredibly shy in middle school, I only talked to like 3 people at school;^;)

They called me Ms. Wifi because of that. I just thought it would be funny if I put 'miss' instead of 'ms' because of my terrible actual wifi connection I have at home lol.

ive explained this before but bc im very sane about my interests i will jump at another opportunity to do so EHEHE. so. my favorite anime/novel series is the monogatari series. for example the first entry is called bakemonogatari. it combines the words "bakemono" meaning monster, and "monogatari" meaning story/tale, to be monster story! "megane" in japanese means glasses 👓, or the archetype of the kinda ""smart glasses character"" ppl have described me as LMAO. so i made my user using the same formula, combining "megane" + "monogatari" to be the story of my life, aka glasses story LMAO. all my life ive worn big chunky glasses (bc im very blind and make it my whole personality.) but "meganemonogatari" would be too much of a mouthful so i shortened it <3 tadaaaa

i did such an in depth explanation about this a while back hehe but i’ll keep it short n sweet this time:

blue is the first part of my user bc my fav colour is blue AND it’s a colour i associate with sonder — “the profound feeling of realizing that each person, including strangers, has a life as complex and vivid as your own, despite your lack of awareness of it” as well as the fact that i think of blue as a very emotional colour n what am i if not an emotional gal?

meraki is a greek work meaning “doing something with soul, creativity, or love, to put a piece of yourself into your work, and to do it with passion and devotion” and this resonates with my perfectionist ass 100x over.

and then i just stuck blue and meraki together and added a s to make it plural bc it rolls off the tongue better.

Well blue is my favorite color, and I like to daydream so I put them together blue dream was born, but someone had already picked blue dream so I got creative and chose Blue-d.

IM EATING THIS UPPP

you were still sleeping. jason had been awake for an hour now, soothed into the idea of peace by the pendulum of your breaths against his chest. 

he should have woken you up. he should have gotten you on your way by now, needing to keep a short leash and tight control on whatever it was that you’d fallen into with him. 

you were soft edges and pretty smiles. jason was rough and broken, pieces broken apart and molded back together with the strength of his determination and spite. two things that shouldn’t work together but did — you two really did. 

“hey, angel,” jason whispers, the back of his hand trailing along the soft skin of your cheek. he was touching you only because it would help ruse you, that was it. it wasn’t because he wanted to touch the gentle skin that your eyelashes did, jealous of everything that got to touch you with gentleness that he didn’t think himself capable of. 

you stir ever so slightly, enough that your face nuzzles into jason’s touch. now he was cupping your cheek, his thumb tracing along your cheekbone, right where your eyelashes met. everything about you was made of glass, and he was desperate to not break you. “c’mon, angel, we can’t stay in bed all day.”

it was tempting. you were so pliable and warm, and he was so desperate to convince himself that he didn’t care about you that he always forgot until moments like this when he felt safe to. he didn’t want you to leave; that was why you needed to. 

“mm, want to,” you mumble, your eyelashes fluttering against the pad of his thumb. jason jerks his thumb away like he was burned. it was different to let himself adore you openly when you were asleep than when you were awake. he couldn’t afford any weakness, and not one as pretty as you. 

jason lets himself trace his fingertips down your cheek to your jawline before he pulls away completely. “i know you do,” he says, and he tries, really tries, to bite back his little smile, but it makes an appearance regardless. “but i’ve gotta get goin’, and i can’t leave you here in my bed.”

“so don’t leave me.”

four simple words that leave him floored. you say it so easily, like it’s not something detrimental in jason’s mind. stay with you; as if it hadn’t plagued his mind since the moment he started sleeping around with you. stay with you; like he could allow himself that sort of grace. stay with you; as if you aren’t a princess in the jaws of a dragon, making the space of its mouth into a home, as if the dragon wasn’t capable of burning you with a harsh breath.

a moment of hopeful weakness has his mouth opening and words tumbling out of them. shouldn’t do this, can’t do this, won’t do this, and still, he says, “get the hell over here, then.”

his arms open. the dragon’s jaw drops further for more space. you curl into his waiting embrace. the dragon’s teeth snap shut, narrowly missing any of the princess’s skin. 

and he holds you in a way that he’s never allowed himself to. a lot of the time, you’ve caught onto his reluctance, and left the night of your encounters to avoid the moment in the morning where you have to both get dressed and head opposite ways. even when jason let you stay, he didn’t ever cling to you like this, his arms fully encompassing you, with your head resting on his bicep in place of a pillow. 

jason would stress about this development between you two later. for now, the princess was safe in the dragon’s biting mouth, without an eyelash out of place.
