hello! i'm júpiter and a uni student that survives on a very small teaching internship grant, looking to make some extra money to survive properly.
here's how this is gonna work:
- opening 4 slots for now, i tend to finish these in around 2-4 days but depends on my schedule;
- payment via paypal/ko.fi, i'm brazillian so it's kinda hard to work with other payment services;
- revisions are fine within reason;
- i heavily prefer working with visual references, picrews and similars are more than okay, the more the better;
- i will charge extra for more complicated designs;
- any more questions feel free to ask via email or my dms;
(btw if a fellow brazillian wants to commission me, we can negotiate pricing and work with brazillian payment methods as well)
4/4 SLOTS OPEN
will update the post whenever slots are filled/open again, and if you wanna help in another way, you can throw some bucks at me via my ko.fi, thank you for the attention!
genuine question, what do you do for coping mechanisms when you're seriously mentally ill and CBT doesn't work, ssris don't work, you're too exhausted for creative pursuits (and youve gotten too neurotic for those pursuits to help anyways), you're physically isolated from your friends, and it's likely within the next year you'll be forced to switch from your mentally stimulating, fulfilling career to work retail? am i just supposed to get addicted to something or what
please help me survive being unemployed and also not get sued for overdue student loans
i've been unemployed for a couple months and i've sent out application after application, i've had interview after interview, and nobody has hired me. i am trying so hard to find a job right now. on top of that, i received a letter in the mail about my overdue student loans being sent to collections, and we are already living on a razor's edge with our budget. we can't afford groceries already. my girlfriend is the only one with a job and they just don't make enough.
it's been a rough year so far. i lost my insurance, i've been job hunting for months, and now if i don't start paying off my debt SOON i'll get dragged to court. my bank account is empty and i don't know what to do.
all i need is 142 dollars a month until i can get a job, and then i'm in the clear. i'm already sending out applications every day. i'm trying. i've tried opening commissions, but i don't have enough reach, and not enough clients. once i get a job i'll be okay. until then i'm drowning.
please consider tossing me whatever you want, anything helps, or just reblogging. if i clear above 142 dollars then i can put that towards food.

hey if you’re a federal worker you may want to use a vpn and check to see if the “american accountability foundation” (elon) doxxed you. suggesting a vpn bc there’s an IP logger on the domain.
info includes black and white photos of targets, social media posts, and political donation history among other things. do not access the site from company devices or during work hours.
according to this NBC news article, “offenses” include things as minor as having your pronouns in your bio.
🚨It would be a shame if everyone reported this website to their Registrar, GoDaddy, for violating their Inappropriate Content Guidelines 🚨
Report form or you can email abuse@godaddy.com
(Form makes your name/info optional)
Domains to report: "americanaccountabilityfoundation(.)com" and "dhswatchlist(.)com" (take out parenthesis)
Form will ask for a specific url with violating content. Easiest one I've found is at the second domain, you can grab an example from there. ("https://www.dhswatchlist(.)com/targets/kursten-phelps" if you want to copy mine, but lets get some diversity)
Example script of what I said for the DHS one: "This website hosts photos, employment information, and financial transactions with specific dates and amounts of individuals who did not consent. This is a violation of your inappropriate content guideline."
GoDaddy's definition of inappropriate content (we are going for "personal information"):
Reblogging again! This version has all the info for reporting it and the link
HEY EVERYONE.
It would be a SHAME if people flooded
DEIAtruth@opm.gov
with false reports of DEI related job posting/description changes. Please dont WASE THE GOVERNMENTS TIME and do exactly this
if you're planning on sending an email to this address, make sure to also keep yourself safe. make a throwaway email that isn't connected to any previous address or phone number. don't give people an excuse to collect information on you that can be used against you.
ICE raids happening in Chicago on Tuesday January 21st. Get organized and get prepared.
what to do if you are arrested or detained by law enforcement, a resource from the National Immigration Law Center, available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Korean, Tagalog, and Vietnamese
immigration law help, database of free and low-cost immigration lawyers, searchable by zip code as well as by detention facility if you or a loved one has already been detained
report an ICE raid or arrest in Chicagoland to the Resurrection Project, a Chicago nonprofit that works on immigration justice as well as housing affordability and other community needs
for those of us watching in horror from the sidelines, one of the best things we can do right now is donate to immigrant justice legal services, like the National Immigrant Justice Center or a local group in your community
in the longer term, we can all help by speaking out in support of immigrants and against these xenophobic deportation campaigns — in public discourse and in caring but firm one-on-one conversations with loved ones who've been swayed by hateful anti-immigrant rhretoric
I do think with news of the ceasefire, everyone should read up on what the ceasefire actually means and what the different phases of the ceasefire are. here's a good source for what we know as of now:
Some of my initial takeaways are:
- this ceasefire is temporary (as of right now, six weeks long). negotiations will continue but israel is not offering guarantees about continued non-violence. BDS remains important. be vigilant, keep pressure up
- rafah crossing will open one week after the initial phase starts
- israel will release 2000 prisoners
- more aid will get to northern gaza, look out for ways you can help
- if the second phase is initiated, israel will do a complete withdrawal from gaza. which means the initial phase will not include that. again i say: BE VIGILANT
- if the third phase is reached, reconstruction will begin "under international supervision"
- nothing is over, even if this is a relief. do not tape out, do not tune out.
- pls still read the full article

Hey, the ACLU is getting people to send letters to your Reps to have Congress pass the No Kings Act.
This act would make constitutional amendments to ensure that even sitting presidents are held liable for their actions. That NOBODY is above the law.
Their goal is 150k messages sent and at the time of writing this they're about 2.1k off from that goal!
ACLU gives you a prefilled message that you can edit to send to make the process easier, and will send it out for you.
This only takes a few minutes!
Howdy folks, the Senate will be considering the first ever resolution blocking arms to Israel. This is huge and historic; it would block government contracting and about $20 billion in arms and support. This is an uphill battle, PLEASE urge your senators to support S.J.Res114-115. This is maybe the most important piece of legislation relating to Palestine that we have ever gotten and we must seize this opportunity.
This doc has information on the resolutions and their process, as well as sample messages and a phone script you can use. Please, use this moment to hear witness for your neighbors.
This is a massive call to action even if you live in a blue state! You cannot simply trust that your senator will do the right thing here. They need to hear that we still care even if the election is behind us.
The upside is that there was an absentee ballot recount in our most populated and very blue county and it pushed us over for a blue Senate win. So yay for that because I was fucking miserable seeing the Republican win there too.
Btw, this is another reason to call your county clerk and make sure that your absentee ballot was counted! Even if we get another Trump presidency, which is very likely, those absentee ballots make a huge difference when it comes to the Senate, the House, governors, and other federal and state officials who can completely change the balance of their governments. My state's electoral votes may be going to Trump and the majority of the elections went red, but we still got a Dem Senator and that win still means a lot.
Reblogging this for the day crowd. Even if you don't think your ballot is enough to help sway the presidential election, there are still so many elections happening that CAN be changed with a recount.
Someone in the tags said that they couldn't find out the race that this was about but hoped it was true so, I'll be a bit stupid.
This post was about the Wisconsin Senate election. It was initially Eric Hovde (R) who was declared the winner and then Milwaukee did an absentee ballot recount and it put Tammy Baldwin (D) just barely over the top. This is a MASSIVE win for Wisconsin, especially with so much of the state being red, and for the rest of the country to have another Dem in the Senate. And it happened because of an absentee ballot recount.
So yeah. There is the tangible proof you need that recounts DO make a difference and are worth demanding, especially in situations where polling places were closed due to threats or a bunch of absentee ballots were conveniently declared ineligible.
Things that will help:
- Signing up to help cure ballots- If someone has an issue like a messed up signature, this can be easily corrected IF it is caught in time. (Also PICK UP YOUR PHONE if this could be you). Here's some events I found on Mobilize: https://www.mobilize.us/?event_type=2&is_virtual=true&q=ballot%20cure You can also check with your local Democratic party.
- Checking your absentee ballot was counted properly: https://www.voteamerica.org/ballot-tracker/
- Contacting your county clerk about doing a recount of absentee ballots
- Contacting your secretary of state
Things that aren't going to do anything:
- Signing a change.org petition (lol)
- Contacting the white house (this is not their jurisdiction)
if you're feeling powerless right now—and god knows I am—here's a reminder you can donate to the National Network of Abortion Funds, the Trans Law Center, Gaza Soup Kitchen, the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, and hundreds of other charities that will work to mitigate the damage that has been and will continue to be inflicted
life continues. we still have the capacity to do good, important work. that matters
