Hello, my name is Ghazi Al Amoudi, and I am 25 years old, living in Gaza City.
For over 11 months, my family and I have been living a life of relentless violence and suffering after being displaced from our home, which was completely destroyed.
We now live in a tent β exposed to the scorching heat of summer, the freezing cold of winter, and the unforgiving mud that floods our lives during the rain.
Disease, epidemics, and pollution haunt us as we struggle to survive without adequate food, water, or medicine. Itβs no place for anyone, especially not for children, but this is all we have.
Before the war, I was proud to work as an instructional designer, building a future for myself and my family.
I had a thriving career and a home that I worked hard to establish. But everything vanished during the war.
Now, itβs all gone.
My office, my tools, and everything I worked for are reduced to rubble. The war has taken everything from us, and now my family and I are living in a tent, struggling to survive.
