My dear friends I want to share a small part of my story with you. Before the war destroyed everything, I had a home full of memories, and even small things like my plants gave me comfort and a sense of peace. I had a life that, though humble, was mine. Here are a few pictures of my home and garden, showing the beauty that once was.

Sadly, everything has been lost, and the future remains uncertain. The war has taken so much, and now, I’m asking for help to rebuild my life. I am trying to escape this devastation with my family and move somewhere we can live at least a somewhat normal life. But we need your support to make this happen.

My home, which was once a place of comfort and peace, was completely destroyed. The memories I held there are now shattered, and I feel the weight of the loss every day. Today feels like a miracle for us in Gaza—we finally have a ceasefire! For the first time in what feels like forever, we’re not waking up to the sound of bombs. We can look at the sky without fear and actually breathe. It’s like we’ve been given a second chance at life.

The streets are full of joy—kids are playing outside, people are smiling, and families are holding onto each other a little tighter. But while we’re smiling, our hearts are still heavy. We’re happy to be alive, but we’re also grieving—grieving for the loved ones we’ve lost, for the homes that have been destroyed, and for the dreams that feel so far away now.

Even in this moment of joy, we carry so much sadness. But we’re trying to hold on to hope because we have to.

There’s one more chance for us to move forward, the Rafah Crossing is supposed to open soon, and it could finally let us leave safely. This is our chance to start over, but we can’t do it alone.

But I’m far from ready to seize this opportunity. While my long-term goal is €70,000, my short-term goal of €10,000 is critical to cover immediate costs of evacuation, shelter, and survival. As of now, I haven’t even reached that.

The rain came down hard, and our camp turned into a muddy mess. The ground was already unstable, but now it’s nearly impossible to walk without sinking into the mud. Our tent couldn’t keep the water out, and everything we have got soaked. It’s a complete disaster.

Even finding clean water to drink has become a huge challenge. The rain makes everything worse—contaminating what little we have and leaving us struggling to get by. It’s hard to explain just how tough things are, but the video shows a small part of what we’re dealing with every day.

Hello everyone, I am Ghazi Alamoudi from the northern Gaza Strip, displaced in Deir Al-Balah, and living in a tent with my family.😢🥺

My family and I are facing unimaginable hardship due to the ongoing war in Gaza. We have lost our home, my career, and our sense of safety. Now, we are living in a small tent, trying to survive each day amidst the chaos and destruction.

Before the war, I worked as an instructional designer, building a future for my family. But that life has been shattered. We are now desperate to find safety and start over. But we need your help. We are trying to raise funds to escape Gaza and rebuild our lives in a place where we can finally find peace.

Before — This was my life before the war, filled with hope and promise.

After — This is what remains after the destruction.

What once stood as a symbol of hope, my Home is now nothing but shattered walls and debris. I had just finished building our home, a place where I could finally feel safe. But in the blink of an eye, everything was destroyed by the ongoing war. The sounds of explosions filled the air, and I fled with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Now, where our memories and dreams once lived, all that remains is devastation.

🚨Urgent update🚨

For the second time, my family and I are displaced in the same devastated city, Dier Al-Balah. This time, we are living on muddy ground. When it rains, the land turns into a swamp, making it nearly impossible to move. Even when it's dry, the water on the surface creates unbearable conditions. the extreme weather makes it even worse. In winter, the cold and rain are unbearable, and in summer, the heat is suffocating. We have nothing stable to hold on to. We have been forced to flee from place to place, seeking safety in a city that offers none. Every move is filled with fear and uncertainty, hoping that this war will finally end. We are exhausted, but we must keep going.

Not only that but Even finding something as simple as a pair of shoes has become a struggle, and become a rare luxury in Gaza, they’re too expensive to afford. Walking on rough, muddy ground without proper shoes has made life even more painful. We’re trying to survive with the bare minimum, but every day brings new challenges.
