This journey hasn’t been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from us—25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. How does a father write an obituary for his son while he's still in his arms? How can I describe the feeling of helplessness as I watch my child suffocate, tremble, and groan in pain, and I can do nothing but cry?

Mohammed, my soul, my heartbeat, faces death right in front of me. He looks at me with eyes filled with pain, as if asking, "Dad, why don't you save me?" And I have no answer. I have nothing but my tears falling down his little face, as if they're an apology for not being a father capable of protecting him.

My son is dying, and his days are slipping away from me like water through my fingers. He suffers from severe lung infections, and his small body can't take any more. The doctors told me in cold voices, "The only solution is urgent surgery, or else...!" They didn't finish their sentence, but I heard it all in their deadly silence.

But how can I save him when I can't afford a life? How can I accept that money be the barrier between me and seeing my child grow up? The amount demanded is huge, and I stand before it, penniless except for my hope in God and my supplications to you.

I am not asking for help, I am asking for life... a life for my child before he departs... before I bury him, knowing I did not do enough to save him.

Please... do not let him die... do not leave me to carry his shroud and carry him to his grave, knowing I could have saved him had a merciful hand reached out to me.

Amidst a violent occupation, Palestinians have tried to build futures and lives for themselves, and have been very successful. But recently, many people have found it hard to hold onto their dreams as their home is destroyed all around them, and their pleading with the world to help them falls on apathetic ears.

The fundraisers that you see shared on here are these families lifelines, but recently I've noticed that people have completely stopped caring about them. This is not normal and it's not okay!! If you are exhausted, I need you to consider how exhausting it is to live through it! Every fundraiser you see is a real person. These are not just games of getting numbers to go higher. These are people's hopes of survival, hopes for the future, hopes for their children.The way you react to these campaigns has a real effect on these people, has a real effect on their ability to believe in a better future and hold onto hope.

Your alliance with the Palestinian people has to be material and concrete. My friend Dina has been struggling severely to see a future for her children as her campaign goes ignored and her pleas for help are met with silence. Her children won't survive on your well wishes, they need actual help. Please don't stand idly by while this genocide continues. You may have seen the horrific crimes occurring every day in Gaza but you haven't seen how my friend fears for her and her children's lives every time a new horror occurs. Another Talk at my Irish College About Gaza and my Family There Reopened My Wounds

Giving a recent guest talk at my Irish college about the horrors my family and I have endured, the war, its aftermath, and the hellish conditions of life in Gaza, was beyond heart-shattering. Speaking about it felt like performing surgery on myself without anesthesia, reopening wounds, and bleeding in the process.

What pains me the most is the unimaginable suffering my family continues to endure—living in constant fear and uncertainty, unsure whether the war will resume or if the people of Gaza will be forcibly displaced from Gaza.

I also spoke about how the war has left Gaza in ruins, where the bones of Palestinian victims lie scattered across the land. My family, like so many others, has been living without a single hour of electricity for months, their lives completely shattered.

As I spoke to Irish students, my heart ached for my family. All I wish for is to reunite with them here in Ireland, where we can finally live a peaceful, normal life. And I remain determined to make this dream a reality.

But I cannot do this alone—I am only human. I urge you to support my campaign in any way you can. Whether by donating, sharing, or simply spreading the word, your help can save my family’s lives and future. That is my ultimate number one mission.

As of 15/2/2025, we are almost at 70% of our final fundraising goal, and we expect the Rafah crossing into Egypt to reopen in the coming weeks. This could be our last chance.

Today should have been a day of celebration and visiting loved ones, but thanks to Israel, the so-called only democracy in the Middle East, it has become a day of man-made starvation, bloodshed, and a relentless search for nonexistent safety. There is no respect for our Eid; instead, massacres continue, wiping entire families from the civil registry on what should be a day of joy. For my family and millions in Gaza, this Eid is marked by suffering, hunger, pain, and unimaginable loss. Two million people remain trapped, held hostage in Gaza, waiting for salvation that never comes.

We are stuck in Egypt after my wife and I lost our jobs. My family lives in constant fear. My brothers, mother and father also live in Gaza.
