Everyone comes rushing back into the lair as fast as all their legs can carry them.ย
Leo passed out on the way back, much to everyone's absolute horror. Usually they didn't remember much from Leo's medical lessons, but one thing they do remember is if someone passes out from blood loss, that's generally not good. Like, at all.
They all stop in the entranceway to the lair, and Donnie quickly skids to Raph's side. "Raph, give me Reni, and take Leo to the medbay!" Raph was holding Reni in his right arm and Leo in the other. It was honestly pretty impressive, and Donnie probably would have praised him for it if it weren't for the situation at hand.
"Wait, Dee, are you suโ" Donnie interrupts Raph before he can barely even start talking. "YES, RAPH, JUST GIVE HER TO ME!"ย
Raph quickly hands Reni over to Donnie, and Reni groans, causing everyone to quickly look over to her, hoping desperately that she hadn't woken up yet.ย
Thankfully, she didn't wake up, and Donnie quickly rushes to his lab with her, signing to Raph to take Leo to the medbay.
It seems to Donnie as if it took him several business days to finally get to his lab, his heart pumping in his chest so loud he's kind of surprised that Reni hasn't woken up from that.ย
Donnie quickly plops Reni down into the chair for the reverse brainwasher, and he gently straps the headgear onto her head. Once again, Reni groans, but thankfully she still stayed asleep.ย
Donnie quickly searches around for the control program he made for the machine on his computer's very crowded desktop. He finally finds it, and he quickly opens it. It takes a little bit to load, which felt like hours to Donnie.
Once it opens, Donnie is quick to enable the metal straps that he installed into the chair to keep Reni in place. Donnie has to be honest; seeing Reni almost chained up like that... It hurt him a lot more than he thought it would.
He looks at Reni for a bit more before he turns the machine on. It whirs to life, and Donnie flinches when he hears Reni start to scream.
Right... it was going to be painful... He didn't know Reni had woken up...

"Raph, put him on the bed!" Mikey almost screams at Raph as they run into the medbay. Mikey winces at his own volume, but he doesn't do anything to correct it. Raph very gently puts Leo on one of the medbay beds, and he turns to Mikey for the next instructions. Raph was never good at this sort of thing; it was usually either Mikey or Leo that bandaged everyone else up.
Mikey hurriedly searches through all of their medical supplies to try and find anything to help Leo with. Raph slowly walks up behind him. "Mikey...?" Mikey quickly snaps at him. "What." Raph flinches from Mikey's harsh tone, and Mikey notices out of the corner of his eye. "Raph, I'm sorry, I justโI don't know what to doโ"
"Hey, Mikey, it'll be okay, alright? Leo will be fine. Trust me." Mikey quickly whirls around, and a few bandages fall on the ground from the wind it produced. "How can I trust you, Raph? You never do any of the medical procedures! Not that I blame you, but if anyone would know what to do here, it would be Leo, and obviously, he's a little bit out of it right now!"ย
Mikey turns around again and continues to search through all their medical supplies. Mikey throws stuff around, and Raph has to catch several things that fly through the air.ย
Eventually, Mikey just grabs some gauze, and he quickly rushes over to Leo, quickly wrapping Leo's wrist. Raph was going to recommend using some antiseptic first, but he decided not to, since Mikey definitely wasn't in the mood for any sort of correction right now.
While Mikey turns Leo's wrist into a mummy, Raph and Mikey hear screams.ย
Mikey pauses what he's doing, instantly freezing up. Raph looks at him and then at the doorway to the medbay. Mikey eventually starts wrapping up Leo's wrist again, but much slower this time.ย
When Mikey finishes, he turns around to Raph, but he doesn't make eye contact with him as he speaks. "Raph, I'm... I'm sorry. I just... I'm scared. For Leo and for Reni..." Tears start to well up in Mikey's eyes, and Raph is very quick to walk over to him and hug him. "Don't apologize, Mikey. I know this is scary, really, I do. Because itย isย scary. It's scary seeing our siblings both in so much pain. But I promise you, they will be okay. They're both in good hands, don't worry."ย
Mikey sniffles and pushes himself away from Raph. He wipes his eyes. "Well, I wouldn't say Leo's in the best of hands; I forgot to put damn antiseptic..." Raph puts his hand on Mikey's shoulder. "We can just take off the bandages and apply antiseptic; there's no real harm done." "But Reniโ" Raph squeezes Mikey's shoulder tightly. "She'll be fine. Donnie knows what he's doing; trust me, okay? I've known this guy for as long as he's been alive; it'll be all right."
Mikey wipes the rest of his tears away and nods. "Yeah, you're right. Let's make sure Leo is alright."

Reni wakes up to the loudest ringing in her ears that she's ever heard.ย
She thought it was bad the time when she woke up after Big Mama had put her in that machine, but it was even worse this... time...
Reni forces her eyes open, and it's surprisingly difficult. In her delirious state, she almost wondered if someone had managed to glue her eyes shut as some sort of cruel joke. But she's able to open them, and she looks around.ย
Her vision is still blurry, but she sees a small room around her. There's clicking noises in the background, like someone is typing on their keyboard. The room has lots of purple, like,ย lots of purple. Purple bed, with purple sheets, purple walls, purple furniture...
Who on earth loves purple this much? Whose room is she in?
Her mind is foggy; she can't... think... straight...
Who... why does that name sound familiar? Why is she thinking about it? It doesn't make... sense...
Why, why is that name repeating itself?
DIDN'T HE ALWAYS LOVE PURPLE?
But who even is he? How would Reni know him...?
Reni gasps, and she stands up, way too fast for her body's liking, though, and she almost instantly falls back into the chair. The clicking of the keyboard stops, and someone walks up to her, trying to talk to her. But Reni can't think. She can't breathe.
Why does she remember Donnie? What happened? Why was she with Big Mama? How many people did she kill, how many lives did she ruin,ย howmanyinnocentlivesdidshetake-ย ย
Leo, Leo, Leo,ย Leo, Leo, Leo, Leo, Leo, Leo, LEOLEOLEOLEO-
Reni quickly stands up again, and this time she holds onto Donnie to keep steady. She barely even notices it's Donnie as she tries to push off of him, but Donnie holds onto her with steady hands, making sure she doesn't run away and most likely fall and hurt herself.ย
"LET ME GO TO HIM! WHERES- WHERES LEO-!" Donnie pushes Reni in front of himself and holds her into place. "Reni, Leo's fine." Reni pushes against his hold, but she's too weak to be able to. "NO, NO, NO! WHERE IS HE?! HE'S DEAD, ISN'T HE? I KILLED HIM, I KILLED HIM, I FUCKING KILLED HIMโ"
Donnie shakes Reni, admittedly a little bit harder than he meant to. "Reni! He is fine! He is not dead!" Reni vigorously shakes her head, which probably didn't help her aching headache. "NO, HE MUST BE DEAD! IโI HAVE HIS BLOOD ON MY HANDS, HE'S DEAD, HE'S... he..."ย
Reni quickly standing up and start basically screaming her head off clearly didn't sit too well with her body, and her vision becomes blurry before going completely black. "Reni-!" Donnie yells before he catches Reni from falling face first onto the ground.ย
Donnie sighs as he picks up Reni (albeit with a bit of a struggle) and brings her to his bed. He gently places her on it and pulls the blankets over her.ย
He looks at her one last time and wipes away some tears he didn't even notice he had started to shed. "I missed you, Reni..." Donnie whispers before he goes back to his computer. He wouldn't tell his brothers about Reni waking up this first time; better for them to not know...
