After a certain point, the only conclusion a Gazan can make is that there is no humanity left in the world.

How can you believe in kindness when your entire world has turned to rubble twice over? When babies are shot down in front of their mothers by turrets? When you are denied the basics of life: food, water, shelter, and denied even the ability to find them yourself. Death becomes all you know. There is no space, no time, no energy left, with which to believe in kindness.

But those not in Gaza, we cannot prove them right. We are still here to stand by the Palestinian people, to fight with them, to stand against barbarity, and for the cause of human life. At least, I think so. Why is it so hard to reblog a post? I do not mean to say you are a bad person, or guilt trip, but I ask you that simple question so that you think about the effort it takes for you to save a life. A movement of your thumb. A microsecond of your day. Does that change anything for you? And even more: do you know how much life is held in €5? An amount that can fall out of your pocket is life-sustaining to the people of Gaza, where gas is €80/kilo, where water is just as expensive as oil.

Ghada Al-Anqar’s campaign sustains the lives of 14 people. The eldest generation, Nabil and Fatima; their children Ghada, Mohamed and his wife, Ahed and his wife, and Khaled, who is engaged; and the children, Fatima, Iman, Nabil, Lama, Amir, and little Noor, who just turned 2.

Noor cries throughout the night as the bombs once again rain over her head and homeland. War is all she knows. But we have an opportunity to show her, to show the Al-Anqars, to show Gaza herself, that the world is with them. Kindness, love, solidarity will prevail.

Every euro counts. Every reblog counts. More than you could possibly ever know. Thank you for your continued support. Let's keep going.

The bombs have returned to Gaza.

Two months of ceasefire was not enough for the people of Gaza to rebuild. With the lack of aid and resources, they would have needed centuries. Even so, in the interim “peace”, the Al-Anqars did their best to bring their life back from the unbearable. Birthdays were celebrated, and Khaled even got engaged. But now that the planes and missiles and drones are back, there is only pure survival left.

Nabil, the patriarch, has sliced his hand open with a handsaw while collecting firewood to keep his family from freezing and requires an operation to reattach the tendons. Noor, the littlest, is not getting enough food. The prices since the war’s reigniting have skyrocketed once again. We, the people reading this, are their only hopes.

PLEASE, this is truly the only way to support individual Gazan families. The Al-Anqar family is 14 people, spanning three generations. Every euro matters more than you could ever know. WE NEED FUNDS FOR NABIL’S OPERATION (€700), FOOD, WATER, GASOLINE, AND MONEY FOR THE RAFAH CROSSING, PROVIDED IT OPENS AGAIN.

Gaza without bread .. The sector's bakeries were closed all of the day .. The remaining flour is not enough for more than a week, and the sack of flour if its price is exceeded 60 dollars ..

I swear to you that Gaza is hungry, and the remaining food stocks are not enough for the maximum of more than ten days and will completely end .. What do you expect after that from a people who kill around the clock and now hunger?! God does not forgive those who brought us here, God does not forgive those who have the ability to stop this genocide and did not.

How can I help my family in Gaza?

I am Mahmoud, a resident of northern Gaza. Since the war started, everything that touches a decent life has disappeared, and everything has become a mess.

  • I woke up in the morning and found that I had to stand in line for drinking water so that my family and I could have some.
  • I woke up in the morning and realized that I had to wake up before dawn to get in line for bread.

War, destruction, and killing,

  • The next morning, I had to make a fateful decision; should we stay in the house we were in or leave it? My whole family had to evacuate because the occupation issued evacuation orders for our residential area, and I didn’t know what was right or wrong…
  • Eventually, we left our homes, our belongings, and all our sweet memories, and we went wherever the army ordered us. After a while, the situation calmed down in our area.
  • I woke up to the sound of a phone call, "We reached your house after the army withdrew," but we didn’t find the house, nor did we find your family’s house.
  • I didn’t sleep that day; I sat with myself, wishing I could find time to mourn my life. My phone rang, "Come on, Mahmoud, let’s eat together." But Mahmoud had no money left! We spent everything; how could I go without food?
  • I woke up after 200 days of war, talked to my mom: "Mom, I want to look for internet and electricity to go back to work and support you, or I’ll stay with you to fill water and manage food." My mom said, "No, go, my son, the important thing is that you return to work."
  • I woke up after that; my mom went out to fill water, and my heart was breaking, but I had to get up and find a place to go back to work for her.
  • I managed to get a laptop from your support and found a place with electricity and internet at such a time because it was almost impossible. I also got a new tent, and things went well, thank God. However, at this time, everything turned back to how it was before; prices rose again, and famine returned amid the closure of crossings. Everything became worse than before; you can’t even provide for your daily expenses to the point that two or three days can pass without eating bread. Sometimes you manage with rice, bulgur, or lentils, but for how long?

How many mornings do we have left in this life? We don’t know.

The question is: dear reader, will you wake up to the disaster we are in? Will you realize that we truly need financial and moral support to be able to continue?

as i'm sure you already know, israel has resumed aggressive bombardment of gaza as of march 18th. at least 400 people have already been killed, with hundreds more wounded or buried under the rubble. on top of this, israel has also been almost completely obstructing the entry of aid for the past several weeks, and cut off power to the last functioning water desalination plant on march 9th.

it is more important than ever that those of us outside gaza do not attempt to ignore the ongoing genocide in favor of the illusion of security. any small thing you can do is better than complacency.

if you need a place to start:

you can find more campaigns to support here, here, or here, or a big (nonexhaustive) list of gazan organizations and mutual aid initiatives here. if you have the fortune of disposable income, i highly encourage you to contribute something in any of these directions. it can truly help save lives.

The worst feeling is when you are insulted, assaulted, beaten and wronged and everyone is looking at you and you do not find anyone to defend you or support you, even though you listen to everyone and they look at you with pity but they cannot do anything for fear of the one who assaulted you. This is our situation today in Palestine and Gaza, where we are being assaulted, wronged, killed, displaced and starved by the cursed Nazi Zionists and the whole world is harming us and does not help us for fear of this occupation, as we have been going through a famine for a very long time and no one has been able to bring in a bottle of drinkable water for us until after taking permission from these Zionists. The whole world is watching our situation and does nothing.

‼️‼️We will die at any moment‼️‼️

The war has returned after 15 months of death and genocide. We have never rested. We are losing people every day, most of them children and women... The bombing is everywhere. Our children are afraid...The sound is frightening.😭

There is no food, no drink, no medicine, the crossing is closed and everything is expensive.

‼️We don't want to die. Please donate and help us so we can buy food and medicine for my mother and save ourselves from death. Just donate. 😭🙏😞🫂‼️

🚨Urgent and important appeal🚨

‼️‼️The crossing is closed‼️‼️

I'm Wasim from Gaza, as you know the crossings are closed and the situation is very difficult, everything is expensive, we cannot afford any food or gas and we are in the holy month of Ramadan and we fast for 15 hours and we cannot break our fast because of the high cost of food...😭😞

As you can see, we do not have cooking gas because the crossings are closed, and we suffer a lot when cooking...😔😭‼️

My mother also needs medicine and vitamins, but she cannot buy them because they are expensive due to the closure of the crossings and the scarcity of the quantity.😭

‼️Help us and donate so that we can break our fast in this blessed month and so that my mother can receive her vitamins...😔🤲🫂‼️

✅️Vetted by @gazavetters , my number verified on the list is ( #290 )✅️

This is my brother who was detained by the occupation, and we do not know whether he is alive or dead. When we were displaced under the missile strikes and fire, all of us were scattered in one place, and many told us that my brother was martyred, but after a full year, news came to us that my brother is detained in the occupation prisons and is being tortured badly and is threatened with death.

I was hoping today that he would be with us on Eid. Yes, the atmosphere is sad and weeping, and Eid has no joy in your absence. In this situation, I ask you to pray and donate for my family. I ask you to celebrate Eid with a donation, even a small one of 50 dollars. It may make us and my brothers happy. 🙏🫂😢🍉

🙏🥹 Stop, please 🥹🙏

Don't ignore me, listen to our sad story 💔🥹🍉

‏I nazmy abouoda, a displaced person from Gaza. live in war and very difficult days. My family and I live like prisoners in tents in the cold weather with insects. What I want is to preserve my family, survive and live in peace. I hope you will stand by me and donatee even a little.

Eid Mubarak, I love you all, may we witness a free Palestine within our lifetimes inshallah

With a single word from Netanyahu, the crossing was closed. With a single word, two million people were starved and buried! We are just numbers in the archives of this dark world. How long will this injustice continue? Our lives in Gaza are like those of prisoners. No food, no water, no electricity, no medical treatment. No basic necessities of life.
