UK veteran pop band Duran Duran have announced a performance date at the Tampere Arena early next summer.
The show, scheduled for 3 June, will mark the third time the band has performed in Finland, having played shows in the Nordic country in 1982 and 2022.
Duran Duran first gained international fame in the early 1980s, enjoying years of success with hits including Girls on Film, Ordinary World, Come Undone and Rio — numbers which the now-much older group are slated to play on their visit to Tampere, along with thracks from their latest album, Dance Macabre.
The band's line-up includes singer Simon LeBon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor and drummer Roger Taylor.
Founded in 1978 in Birmingham, Duran Duran have sold more than 100 million albums during their career. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
