Atlantis, Bahamas!!!!!

thats right... i went to THE BAHAMAS!!! it was so amazing!! we stayed at Atlantis! The only reason why we really went there was for my dads work because they had a doctors convention and the only reason why I went was because my parents felt bad for leaving me home on my birthday.. so just so you know, this isn't a common thing. But i am so glad that i was able to spend my 15th birthday there, that just made it even better!:) There was SO much to do. the first day we got there around 4ish and went
"fancy fine dining" ( i was really self conscious the whole time.. it didn't want to use the wrong fork or something) with some of the people my dad works with. One of the guys brought his wife and two girls, Rachel and McKenna. They were both younger than me, but they were super cute and funny! the rest of the night we just walked around and explored that huge place. We found out they had a non-alcholic dancing club for teens for ages 13-18 called club Rush haha... i knew that if Amanda were with me... we would probably go ;) the next day was my birthday!!!!!! we spent most of the time at Aquaventure which is the HUGE water park at Atlantis, the one with the Mayan temple slide called the Leap of Faith. I went on it once. It was really scary.. its an almost vertical drop and you go through a tube where sharks are surrounding you.. i hated it, but you cant go to Atlantis without going on sooo i had no choice. But then after that, we went to the Dolphin Cay and went swimming with dolphins as my birthday present! it was so fun! they are really cute! it was the best birthday present ever! The second day we went to the beach but the rest of the day was pretty much the same. We went to Aquaventue and got FRIED on the rapid river which is by far the most fun water ride ever! They also had water roller coaters where you would go up these conveyor belts and the water shoots you up and through all these tubes, its really cool! The last day we tried to keep out of then sun due to our horrible sun burns, then that night we went and saw Avatar at the Atlantis theater which is a really good movie. It was very depressing to leave but i am so grateful I had the opportunity to go! i will never forget it! :)

here goes all the picture..

Lake trip!

Yesterday, Ashley and David invited me and my cousin Raquel to go to the lake with them!!! It was sooo much fun! since it was just the four of us we got to do a lot of stuff. Ashley knee boarded and wake boarded. David did the sky ski which was super fun to watch and Kell and I did the tubes!!!!! I have to say  I am very sore from being whipped around with water splashing up my nose and being twisted backwards while still to attached  to the tube and being dragged in the water... ;) but it was still a great time!

We were pretty excited
There goes Ashley, drivin like a pro ;)
Me and Kell

Me and Kell on the tubes
hahahah!!!!! Kell being thrown off the tube, with that huge wave!
The pretty sunset.. this is David.. we made him get on the tube so we could torture him just like he did us.. ;)

Orchestra Trip

On Wed. the orchestra went to EAC in Thatcher for a competition. It was a lot of fun! We rode on big charter buses there. After we watched a few of the other orchestras perform, we were totally confident ;) We did great and all the judges gave us straight ones which is the highest score you can receive. It was a lot of fun and i am so proud of our orchestra!

P.S. I recently tried out for a higher orchestra for next year, and i made it!!! :)

What An Amazing Experience..

I had this Easter weekend! I was able to attend my first General Conference in the Conference center! We were lucky enough to get tickets to attended both Saturday sessions. It was neat to go with my parents and  my sister Amanda and be able to be in the same room as the prophet and general authorities. I could feel the spirit so strongly.

We also got to sit with our old friends the McGhies who live in Utah:

Afterwards we went to the Family History Center and saw the display of President Hinckley:

Even though it was very cold and crowded it was still so worth it,
I will never forget this Easter sunday because of this wonderful experience that I hope I get a chance to do again someday! :)
